Search Warrant Support

We can attend with your team, by arrangement, to make sure digital evidence is identified, preserved and seized properly the first time.

  • →Pre-warrant planning. Identifying the likely devices, storage, cloud accounts and systems at the premises, and input on the digital scope of the warrant application.
  • →On-site triage. Rapid review to identify relevant devices and data, reducing over-seizure and the load on your lab.
  • →Live and on-site acquisition. Imaging of computers, servers and running systems, including capturing encrypted volumes while they are unlocked.
  • →Mobile device handling. Isolation, passcode capture where lawful, and seizure steps that prevent remote wiping.
  • →Cloud and remote data. Identifying accounts and supporting preservation requests before data is lost.
  • →Exhibit and chain-of-custody records. Documented from the moment of seizure, in the format your agency uses.

Overflow and Backlog Casework

When examination queues are holding up investigations, we take on extraction and analysis of seized devices under your direction, and report in your format. Statements and court evidence are provided where required.

Building Forensic Capability

We help agencies set up or improve a digital forensic unit: lab design, tool selection, standard operating procedures, evidence handling and eDiscovery workflows. See lab design.

Working with Agencies

We work under your agency's policies, security requirements and direction, and treat all operational information as strictly confidential. Available across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.
