Most matters begin with material already in hand rather than a device. Send us what was disclosed and we will tell you whether it supports the conclusions drawn from it — often within days, and at a fraction of the cost of a full examination. If the matter proceeds and the court needs an opinion, the same examiner carries it through to report and testimony. Nothing is duplicated and nothing is wasted.
Our duty is to the court, not to the party paying the invoice — and that is precisely what makes the opinion worth having. If the evidence does not support your case theory we will say so early and plainly, before costs escalate. An opinion that bends to the brief does not survive cross-examination, and neither does the expert who gave it.
Most matters start with a case review: we examine what has been disclosed and tell you whether it holds. If the matter proceeds and the court needs an opinion, the same examiner can be engaged as expert witness. You are not committed to the second by starting with the first.
Yes. As a shadow expert we work under privilege — testing the opposing expert's methodology and arming counsel for cross-examination — without our involvement being disclosed.
We tell you plainly and early, before costs escalate. Our duty is to the court, and an opinion that bends to the brief is worth nothing under cross-examination.
