A Digital Forensic Expert Witness Who Survives Cross-Examination.

Digital evidence wins or loses cases — but only when it is presented by an expert the court can rely on. Foren6ix provides independent digital forensic expert witness services across Australia and the Pacific: UCPR-compliant expert reports, live testimony, joint expert conclaves, and privileged shadow-expert review of the other side’s evidence. Every opinion is grounded in repeatable methodology and delivered by an IACIS-certified examiner with 16 years in law enforcement (NZ Police, Immigration New Zealand, NZ Serious Fraud Office and PNG ICAC) and courtroom experience in civil, criminal, family and insolvency matters.

Disclosed Expert or Shadow Expert

As a disclosed expert we produce an independent report and testify to it. As a shadow expert we work under privilege: testing the opposing expert’s methodology, identifying weaknesses in their extraction or interpretation, and arming counsel with the right questions for cross-examination — without our involvement ever being disclosed.

Independence Is the Product

Our duty is to the court, not the client — and that is precisely what makes the opinion valuable. We will tell you early and plainly if the evidence does not support your case theory, before costs escalate.

// Common questions
Which courts and matter types do you cover?+

Civil, criminal, family and insolvency matters across Australian and Pacific jurisdictions — written reports, affidavits and live testimony, in person or by video link.

What does an expert report cost?+

It depends on the volume of material and the questions asked. We scope the engagement and provide a written estimate before any work begins.

Can you review the other side’s expert report?+

Yes — under legal professional privilege as a shadow expert. Many engagements begin exactly there: testing whether an opposing report’s conclusions actually follow from the data.
