Every original photo carries hidden metadata: when it was taken, on what device — often exactly where. Drop one in and see. It never leaves your browser.
Original images carry EXIF metadata — capture time, device make and model, and often GPS coordinates. That data is part of what makes a forensically collected image so much stronger than a screenshot: it anchors the picture to a device, a time and a place. It's also why you should think before sharing originals publicly. Read more in Capturing Data Properly.
